Manga Fox

I enjoy reading Manga online. So much so that I have a dismal social life and nearly no friends but that’s not my point. I want t to tell my readers about the best and most technologically advanced Manga site on the internet. Manga Fox has the largest archive of Manga available anywhere and has the best search option I have ever seen. There are 29 genre options with the choice to block or select any number of them at one time. It also has artist and author choices. I only use other sites when I can’t find what I want on this one but overall it is the best by far.

Barbeque

This Thursday was prom. I could not go because of my grades but on Friday the school had a day of fun and sports instead with a barbeque after. This my sound enjoyable but to me, who would rather spend my time reading a good book then anything to do with sports, it was terrible boring. The school day started late and after painting our class banners we went to the gym to watch a basketball game. Once the game was over we when outside to play a long list of simple games. We played tug-of-war and had a sack race. What really annoyed me though was the barbeque. I wasn’t allowed to get a soda until I got my food. In order to get my food I had to wait in a long line out in the blazing sun by a lit grill. It wasn’t a very fun day for me.

Avatar

Every truly great book I have ever read has left me stunned and filled with near sorrow at its end. It is not because I enjoy sad stories but because I morn the end of such a fantastic voyage through the hearts, souls, and worlds of these authors.
Though not all books leave me with such a feeling it is even rarer with moves. For such an amazing peace of art to emerge from such a tarnished art form is nigh on impossible in this day and age. The newest of these masterpieces is Avatar.
I am far from the first to praise this movie, but having only just witnessed it for myself I cannot remain silent. I am not saying it is perfect. It like all other stories has its flaws. I detected a strong ring of Pocahontas near the beginning, and as well thought out this new planet was the braid connection concept seemed a bit forced.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not tried to demean Avatar in any way at all. I was entrapped from the first word. I shared Jake’s aw at the sights and sounds of Pandora, I wept at the loss of the mother tree and the chief, and I roared in victory every time the Navi gained a new advantage.
This move is not to be under estimated, not to be ignored, and certainly it will never be forgotten.

Earthquake Narrative

On 3:30 p.m. on Easter Sunday an earthquake hit Mexicali Mexico. It was 7.2 on the Richter scale. I was sitting on my parents couch watching an old movie with my mom both my sisters and my sister’s boyfriend at the time. When I first noticed the shaking I thought someone was moving the couch but then I saw the TV rocking and I knew it was an earth quake. Even with this knowledge I didn’t feel any real fear until my mom’s mirror fell off the wall and shattered. The feeling that I could no longer trust the ground to stay put was extremely unsettling. But because no one was hurt and there were no major property damage I feel this was a fascinating experience.

fruit

A: If you were a piece of fruit what would you be, and why?
Q: I do not want to be a fruit so I would choose to be a delicious strawberry, that way I would be eaten fast and not rot. If not that then something native to Japan.

Sorry

I have decided to remove all my poems and my short story form my blog because I’m not comfortable leaving them up where they could be stolen. I’m sorry if you been reading and enjoying them.

Ichigo Kurosaki

My favorite Japanese cartoon character is Ichigo Kurosaki from the anime Bleach. I like him because he is a reluctant hero who is incredibly strong. He will fight to protect his friends no matter how hopeless the battle. He has a terrible attitude that makes all of his casually interactions with friends highly humorous. It’s obvious that his heart is in the right place so his attitude has no negative effect on how I view him.

Poem

I recently wrote a poem that I really like. The strange thing is I can’t decide what order to put the lines in. it’s free verse so it’s really hard to decide. I won’t post the poem because its slightly inappropriate.

Childhood Dreams

To my eternal shame I remember wanting to be either a ballerina or a mermaid when I was younger. The Little Mermaid was my favorite movie for the longest time which is probably why I wanted to be a mermaid. I also had a ballerina Barbie that I adored for the longest time. I still have that doll somewhere and I still love it but I do not want to be a ballerina anymore.

Describe your dream house.

My dream house is completely impossible. I want a home the size of a small university. I obviously don’t need so much room to live. I could easily live in a one bed room apartment with my husband, but then I would have no room for my books. My house would nothing more than a gigantic library with a few guest rooms. If I could choose where I wanted my house it would be up in the hills in Northern California. The area would be very green with a good amount of wild life and a river or stream nearby. I can see this house very well. I have literally dreamed of living there.

Song

When I was twelve my favorite song of all time was Linkin Park’s “In the End”. Both my sister and I loved the song. We use to sing it together, shed sing the raping part and I would sing the long drawn out parts.

Rhyme Zone Poem

Follow Me into the Sun

At the end of such a lonely day
When the mind is most apt to stray
Watch you’re self or you may fall
Into a pit of dismay

I know how you can feel so small
So I ask you just to heed my call
And follow me into the sun
We must sprint don’t crawl

I’ll not promise you it’ll be fun
This harsh trip has just begun
We will run far away
Into the waiting sun

The rhyme scheme of this poem is AABABBCBCCAC

Rain

I do not hate rain, but I prefer the sun because water destroys books. I love to walk in the rain this time of year but I’m sure that if rain wasn't so rare in this area I would quickly come to despise it. I’ll be glad when the sun returns.
